How Hydro Nusantara Helped Aquaria KLCC Achieve Optimal Water Clarity and Disinfection
Maintaining consistent water clarity while ensuring optimal disinfection against bacteria and fish parasites is a critical priority for Aquaria KLCC. The aquarium’s management understands that clear, clean water is essential not only for the aesthetic appeal of the exhibits but also for the health and well-being of marine life. The aquarium needed to maintain a consistent clarity of the water, while at the same time achieving its prophylactic measurement for the fish water tanks by inactivation of bacteria, microorganisms (protozoa type), and fish parasites (ich, nematode, etc.).
Our Solution: Polypropylene UV System Integration
To ensure proper conditions for the marine life in the aquarium, a reliable disinfection protocol had to be established. These needs were perfectly accommodated by UV technology, which will now replace the former ozonation system, providing a major sustainability upgrade.
Our solution was to select an effective UV water disinfection system that meets certain criterias, including the availability of PP (Polypropylene) material used for the chamber construction, the system’s proven track record in the aquaculture industry, and the availability of local support through the dedicated team at Hydro Nusantara.
These water disinfection systems work together to remove particulate matter, maintain balanced water chemistry, and effectively eliminate harmful microorganisms and parasites.
The installed UV system will now ensure microorganism control and the right water clarity levels for many years to come while providing low maintenance requirements and excellent durability due to the Polypropylene chamber material.
